We all have a different color of lips and believe it or not, sometimes the color of your lips reflects on what’s happening to you and your body that indicates your health.
Pale lips? Well maybe you’re Anemic or you lack red blood cells on your blood. Therefore, you need to eat foods that are high in iron. Broccoli, red meats, and red dates are an example of it.
If you have super red lips and you don’t wear red lipstick or any tints, you’re probably bad breath, always craves on snacks. This indicates that your body is overheating and your liver and spleen are overworking. Chrysanthemum tea, bitter melon, celery, and honey are recommended.
For purple-greeny lips, which is common during winter but it’s unusual if it’s constant. If you have this maybe you have heart or respiratory problem. Consulting a doctor is suggested.
For dark red with a hint of black lips, you have problems on your digestive system. For this, do not eat too much-processed food instead, eat foods that are easy to be digested like congee, sweet potato, and tofu. Lemon water can also help you cleanse your body.
Lastly, if you have purple-black lip outline. This is an indication that your body is experiencing imbalance. To bring back balance, just rest and eat well. Avoid spicy processed foods as well.
If you don’t have any of these and have natural rosy pink lips, you’re healthy!
