Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Women Young Achievers!

The Philippines hosted the 2015 edition of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). In the event, a woman used the word "unisex" to describe herself. Techpreneur Kathy Xiaosi Gong has achieved a lot and is recognized all over the world, not just for the work she's done in the digital space, but for her contribution to women empowerment.

Gong said that gender gap is a result of many things both external and internal; but change can start at any time and it should start with young girls believe that they are equally, if not more, capable than boys.

Sharing the stage with her was Marita Cheng, one of the youngest speakers at the forum, whose advocacy is increasing women participation in the male-dominated field of Engineering.
