Youtube comedienne Nicole Arbour's account got temporarily suspended following her offensive "Dear Fat People" video which tackles the topic of overweight and obesity.
The video-maker received flak from the online community saying that even though he had a point, her delivery made her sound like a jerk.
"Fat-shaming is not a thing," Arbour said. "Fat people made that up."
Arbour's video had already gotten half-million views before she says her entire YouTube channel was temporarily shut down on Saturday (September 5) afternoon. In face, a lot of Youtubers have made response videos about the viral clip. Arbour received an email from Google, YouTube's mother company, warning her about violating its terms. She claimed to be "the first comedian in the history of @YouTube to be #censored."
YouTube didn't comment on the subject.
Her Youtube channel has been reinstated and her Youtube video "Dear Fat People" has reached over 1.5 million views while her Facebook video of the same has over 21 million views and has been shared over 130,000 times.
