The Prime Minister has not revealed just how many people they are willing to accommodate but it is most likely over 10,000. Although he has specified that the refugees will come from camps bordering Syria rather than those who have already gotten help in Europe.
Chancellor George Osborne said the international aid budget is going to be used to help house people. The United Kingdom, however, will not be participating in the proposed mandatory European program to resettle migrants.
