Trending: Google Announces Revolutionary Project Ara Delayed to 2016

Project Ara is one of the most talked-about and anticipated Smartphone concept spearheaded by Google. According to the Official Project Ara Twitter account, they have pushed back the release to 2016 and the pilot will be conducted elsewhere (originally Puerto Rico).

Project Ara is an innovative idea wherein phones can be upgraded and bought piece by piece. Like a flexible and advanced puzzle, users can pick and choose what upgrades or features they want on their phone. It has been in development for years and setting its release to 2016 is a disappointment to a lot of fans and followers who have been watching the videos and waiting for news.

The delay may prove that the technology is more complex than we are led to believe.
