Swarigen was born with a rare condition that occurs only once every 500,000 births called Giant Congenital Melanocytic Nevus. Her entire body is covered with moles and birthmarks, and while they pose no health rish, there is no cure of the disease and the moles may not be removed since they take up most of her body (and are continuing to develop).
Swarigen relies on help from the local community, online support groups and relatives to build up her confidence; but ultimately, she has realized that self-acceptance is the one true key to happiness.
