Camp Courage: Liza Soberano Represents and Inspires Today's Teens

Liza Soberano is perhaps one of the most sought-after brand endorsers because of her pretty face and charming personality. In the midst of all the success she is enjoying in the big and small screens, Liza remains to be a regular teenage girl who cries over scary challenges and experiences stage fright.

She revealed her own struggles before catapulting into stardom in an interview after she was crowned Johnson and Johnson Philippines’ Camp Courage ambassador. Camp Courage aims to help Filipino teens overcome many difficulties like insecurities and lack of self-esteem.

For me, when you are out of your comfort zone, that’s when you really learn. You gain that confidence to do other things,” Liza said, encouraging fellow teens, “Based from my experience, you must not limit yourself to what you are comfortable doing. Just be yourself and never let anything or anyone stop you. If you let insecurities get in the way, then you won’t give your all. The world is so big and there are so many thing that you can try. Don’t be afraid.”

Liza is planning to do more inspiring activities with Camp Courage when the project visits 500 schools nationwide and reach out to 400,000 Filipina teens beginning September.
