Suicide Squad First Trailer Released in Comic Con and Leaked Online. Find Out Why It Has 38 Million Views in a Month!

Suicide Squad is a DC Comics film set to release in 2016, around the same time as the much-awaited Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Unlike most superhero movies, the SS is a group of super villains on a secret government mission.

During the San Diego Comic-Con International, one of the biggest events for nerds, the Suicide Squad held a panel with stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Viola Davis and Joel Kinnaman among others. They had premiered a trailer which was supposed to be exclusive to the event but it was somehow leaked online with Warner Bros. stating that they would not release an official version; however, since they wouldn't squelch the rampant uploads of poorly-filmed trailers, they decided to release a clean version for the whole world to enjoy.

The Comic-Con trailer featured a haunting cover of the song "I Started a Joke" by Becky Hanson, as a reference to the film introducing the Joker into the DC Comics shared universe film series.
