WORLD NEWS:"HUNDREDS OF STRAY DOGS KILLED FOR RABIES AWARENESS IN KARACHI PAKISTAN"

May 12 2015, Images of these hundred stray dogs that have been killed and lined up in the road of Karachi Pakistan gone viral on Social Media.

This action of the government-organized cull is facing the fury of the people and led to protest from animal-rights organization and groups and storm criticism of city authorities.

The Officials said that this is necessary because many of the animals have rabies, a disease that kills thousands of people worldwide every year.Pakistani authorities said that around 150,000 people in Karachi were bitten by dogs and 15% to 20% of them is killed caused by rabies.

Animal-rights organization and group says the cull, in which dogs are usually poisoned and killed is inhumane. They could reduce the rate of people who died because of the rabies by vaccination. They even suggested that to control the population of stray dogs through sterilization in which they will clean the dogs that don't have any owner. But the Karachi officials said that this process could cost a lot.

The logic that I see in the statement of Pakistani Officials is just like this, To prevent illegal logging, let's clear out all the trees. It is funny but it's true.

What is your reaction regarding to the Government-organized cull of Pakistani Officials?
