Seeing something like this hardship is like tearing your heart apart. A child must be freed from this kind of very early symptoms of death and what’s very awful here is he’s already asking his parents to end his young life.
As been stated by some reliable news source, this young boy is suffering from bone cancer. In the video, 15-year-old Melvin Inocencio asks his parents to rather “kill him” or “end his life” because of the pain he has been experiencing. He says he cannot go through this trial anymore. Of course, family and friends insist that he must be treated and live a life of a normal person.
But what is a bone cancer? Based on the researches of National Cancer Institute of America, it is a malignant (cancerous) tumor of the bone that destroys normal bone tissue. Not all bone tumors are malignant. In fact, benign (noncancerous) bone tumors are more common than malignant ones. Both malignant and benign bone tumors may grow and compress healthy bone tissue, but benign tumors do not spread, do not destroy bone tissue, and are rarely a threat to life.
They have also stated that malignant tumors that begin in bone tissue are called primary bone cancer. Cancer that metastasizes (spreads) to the bones from other parts of the body, such as the breast, lung, or prostate, is called metastatic cancer, and is named for the organ or tissue in which it began. Primary bone cancer is far less common than cancer that spreads to the bones.
It is mentioned that the kid’s father, Benjamin Inocencio is a mere part-time carpenter and his earnings is not even enough to sustain the family’s needs. His mother is in Pakistan and is still not able to come home. This will definitely break people’s heart because his mother could be the one who can at least lessen his burden but she can’t come and hug her own son.
They are just merely hoping to what a ‘pain reliever’ can do. It is very awful to see how the kid’s in pain and how he eventually loses his childhood because of this sickness.
