Another Earth in Outer Space? Astronomers using NASA's space-based Kepler Telescope may be close to finding the first Earth-like planets in outer space, potentially capable of supporting life. Such a discovery could change the way we view our place in the universe.

Now our new technology on the ground and space, team astronomers are rising to be the first to anounce of the discovery of another planet like our own.
Our planet alone in the cosmos or is it one of many life-harboring worlds? As recently as 20 years ago, the number of known planets outside our solar system was zero, but today that number tops two-thousand by some counts and scientists are edging ever-closer to discovering the planets like our own.
